"I love this book. I'm in the UK and got it within a few days of ordering it. The books contents really hammered home to me what work I should now be doing on my game away from the tables, stressing the importance of every decision, and how you can go about improving the quality of your decisions. The meat of the book, the Unified Theory of Poker, although it has a high math content, which it must, is easy to follow and for me is a great framework to take away and use for study.
"Derric has obviously not held much back from what he has learned and found effective in making him a successful poker player over the years and this is described clearly in the book. If you are serious about poker this book is a must for your collection. I mean I've been a pro now for 5 years and by the end of the book I thought, 'crickey I've got a sh*t load of work to do at my game', but now at least I've got an idea of what to do and how to do it."
